Note that errors have been discovered in the code of this software. Users are strongly cautioned to check all data output thoroughly when using this software.
The ADVFilter programs are used to filter Acoustic Doppler Velocity (ADV) data recorded by Sontek ADVField meters. ADVFilter1.pl produces six output files of mean ADV filtered data, daily averaged speed and direction, optional averaged conductivity and temperature, filtered ADV data samples, optional percent difference between the current burst and the previous burst, and optional gradient values. ADVFilter2.pl produces 2 output files of mean ADV filtered data and optional averaged conductivity and temperature. ADVFilter2.pl takes as input modified files from ADVFilter1.pl and recalculates the data based on the modifications of the user.
